British Invasion
Mainstage Company – Concert
In the mid 1960s, North American audiences went wild for a new sound and attitude from across the pond. A cultural phenomenon began – The British Invasion.
The Beatles famously stunned television audiences in 1964, followed by The Stones, Herman’s Hermits, and Dusty Springfield. The craze continued through the 70s with The Who, David Bowie and Queen. In the 80s and 90s, Wham, Supertramp and The Spice Girls exploded and paved the way for Adele and Ed Sheeren.
The music of British legends from the 60s until today will invade the Theatre Ancaster stage in the fall to leave you absolutely chuffed!
