COVID-19 Update

June 30, 2021

The team at Theatre Ancaster is working hard to make sure we come back stronger than ever.  We are very excited to bring our Youth Programs back for Fall 2021!

We are waiting for the Ontario guidelines regarding student numbers and safety protocols before opening registration. We will be sure to send out a notification before registration opens.

Unless guidelines are set in a way that makes reopening impossible, our plan is to launch all of our Youth Programs, including:

  • Stage 1: Jitterbugs
  • Stage 2: Skill Builders
  • Stage 2: Junior Broadway
  • Stage 2: GLEE (new program!)
  • Stage 3: Young Company

Program Viability Announcements will be made concerning Fall 2021 as soon as information is available from health and government sources.

  • Community Benefit - Lux Radio Broadcast: Miracle on 34th Street
  • Classics Company (musical): To be announced
  • Classics Company (original play): Murder Anonymous
  • Theatre Ancaster Chorus: 'Zat You, Santa Claus?

Postponed until Spring 2022

  • Spring Main Stage: British Invasion The Concert
  • Theatre Ancaster Chorus: The Wonderful Music of Disney
