Call for Creative & Production Team Members for Our 2025/2026 Mainstage Season

Join us in bringing our biggest shows to life on stage! Theatre Ancaster seeks enthusiastic and experienced creative team members and production team leaders for our upcoming 2025/2026 Mainstage Season. We are currently inviting members of the community to express their interest in working with us in the following leadership roles:

– Choreographers
– Vocal Directors
– Music/Band Directors
– Stage Managers
– Assistant/Apprentice Stage Managers
– Head of Costumes/Wardrobe
– Head of Hair & Makeup
– Head of Props
– Head of Set Design
– Head of Set Construction
– Lighting Designers and Operators
– Sound Designers and Operators
– Projection Designers and Operators

All roles within our Mainstage Company are volunteer with honoraria awarded.

Theatre Ancaster’s 2025/2026 Mainstage Season will include:

September 2025 Play: The Vagina Monologues
Calendar Commitment: July to September
Performances: September 2025

Fall 2025 Musical: Spamalot
Calendar Commitment: September to November
Performances: November 2025

Spring 2026 Concert Series: Title TBD
Calendar Commitment: February to May
Performances: April 2026

Call for Conservatory Company Leadership Roles

Theatre Ancaster is seeking individuals to take on leadership roles within the Conservatory Company, a program for adults aged 18-29 to gain leadership experience and create a musical theatre production on a timeline that fits with a college or university schedule.  Theatre Ancaster would like to grow capacity for young artists, creators, and designers to begin taking on leadership roles that would enable them to grow into larger roles elsewhere in the company.

All positions will receive an honorarium as a thank you for their work, though all positions are considered volunteers.  Theatre Ancaster is a not-for-profit charity organization led by volunteers.

Calendar Commitment: May to August, 2025

Performances: August 2025

Application deadline is midnight, December 1, 2024

No experience is required – just an awesome attitude and the willingness to be a part of a great team!
