Fall – Stage 2: Skill Builders

Grades 2-8

Youth Program: Skill Builder participants dancing

Due to high demand, we are planning to open a second session of Stage 2: Skill Builders.  If we have enough registrations, this program will run from 3:00 – 5:00 pm on Saturdays.  The two sessions will be exactly the same, using the same staff, script, and songs.

Skill Builders is a program that seeks to build up students in grades 2-8 in several different aspects of performance, no matter their skill or training level.  A strong focus on helping students develop concrete skills as singers, actors, and dancers helps prepare for a performance at the end of the session.  Students will learn in a large group setting as well as smaller classes broken up by age group.

FAQ

Can my child participate in a combination of Stage 2 programs (Skill Builders, Junior Broadway, GLEE)?

Yes! This is a great way to build the skills of a well-rounded performer, provided your student is old enough to register in Junior Broadway and GLEE (Grades 5-8).

What training and qualifications do your staff hold?

Our staff is made up of qualified and experienced educators, both in formal education settings and in the arts industry. Yes, attendance at the dress rehearsal and final performance is mandatory. Our entire program is structured around the creation of the final show and children will get the most out of their experience with full participation.
