Community Involvement

Theatre Ancaster is eternally grateful for the support it receives from our patrons, community, and sponsors. In an effort to give back to our community, Theatre Ancaster has been involved in numerous activities and initiatives to say thank you.

• Since 1997, Theatre Ancaster has provided more than $150,000 in improvements and support to  Ancaster High School as well as upkeep, maintenance, and refurbishment of its Theatre Auditorium as part of its partnership agreement with the school and the Hamilton Wentworth District School Board.

  Theatre Ancaster performs a community benefit in December where all actors, production crew and community partners donate their time and resources, so all proceeds are donated to Ancaster Community Services.

• Theatre Ancaster is an active member of the Ancaster Business Improvement Area (BIA) and often donates performers, resources, and volunteers to community events such as Teen Scene at Heritage Day, Christmas Tree Lighting and the weekly Farmers’ Markets during the summer.
