Stage 3: The Young Company

Big Fish is a family musical with heart

Audiences are going to love Big Fish, a must-see performance for the entire family.

Big Fish is a story of family, love, story-telling and truth. Theatre Ancaster’s Young Company of 35 talented and theatre-loving teens guarantee everyone a great evening of music, dance and tall tales.

“It’s a beautiful show,” said director Sam Frisk, who loves his work with the Young Company as much as he does the show. “It’s a show that is all about what we most value in life. It features big sweeping stories and some truly outstanding music that I never get tired of. This show deeply moves me in a way that no other piece of theatre ever has.”

Big Fish

Presented by the teens in our Stage 3 Program, Big Fish is the story of a father who lives his life through tall tales, regaling everyone he meets, and his son who wants just the facts.  This beautiful musical is about family, love, adventure, and imagination.  This musical will make you laugh, cry, and hug your loved ones.

Legends Gone Too Soon

Throughout history, there have been entertainers who have put their stamp on music and left an indelible impression on the consciousness of the masses. Many of these legendary performers passed away far too soon and left the world in shock.

We pay tribute to these amazing artists and the cultural phenomenon they created. Featuring the hit songs of Jim Morrison, Whitney Houston, Natalie Cole, Elvis, George Michael, Amy Winehouse, Prince, Freddy Mercury, Jimmi Hendrix, and many more!

This full concert experience honours the memory and genius of these legends.
It will be a great family event.
